Nyna Shannon Andersen's dramatic musical based on the life of Farm Workers Union leader Cesar E. Chavez will open Aug. 20 at the Tracy Roberts Theatre for a six-week run. Chavez: Going Towards the Light stars Edgar Garcia as Chavez and Brenda Canela as his wife Helen. The director is Leon Katz.The musical is produced by Gily Productions and will be performed Fri. & Sat. eves at 8 PM; Sun. at 2 PM.
