News   My Big Gay Italian Wedding Will Make Atlantic City Debut With Lainie Kazan and Nikki Blonsky My Big Gay Italian Wedding, which is scheduled to end its Off-Broadway run Aug. 20 at St. Luke’s Theatre, will make its Atlantic City premiere Aug. 26-27 at the Hilton Hotel & Casino.

The cast will boast Lainie Kazan ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") as Angela Pinnunziato, Nikki Blonsky ("Hairspray" film) as Maria Pinnunziato, singer Kim Sozzi as Aunt Toniann (Aug. 26 only), freestyle dance/pop singer Judy Torres as Aunt Toniann (Aug. 27 only) and playwright Anthony Wilkinson as Anthony. Sonia Blangiardo directs.

My Big Gay Italian Wedding, according to press notes, "focuses on two gay men as they plan their wedding and the people around them, including an overbearing Italian mother, a jealous ex-boyfriend, the wedding planner from Hell, and an assortment of family and friends."

The production also features choreography by J. Austin Eyer, costume design by Philip Heckman and original music and lyrics by David James Boyd.
