My Fair Lady at Rochester's Geva Theatre will extend again for an extra week, running through July 18. The musical, now the highest grossing and best-attended of any Geva production, was originally set to close June 27, but extended until July 11. Broadway's Crista Moore plays Eliza Doolittle in the production, which began performances May 19 and opened May 22.

Moore was Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics nominated for the title role in the Tyne Daly revival of Gypsy and for playing Susan in Big. She was given a Theatre World Award for Gypsy. Other credits include Cinderella in Cinderella, Snookie in 110 in the Shade and Eileen in Wonderful Town, all for New York City Opera at Lincoln Center.

Joining her are regional theater veteran Remi Sandri as Henry Higgins, and Broadway veteran Munson Hicks (Jake's Women) as Liza's dad, Alfred Doolittle. Tony Capone (Freddy), Steven Hauck (Pickering) and Lisa McMillan (Mrs. Higgins) comprise the supporting leads.

Karen Azenberg choreographs; Geva associate artist Tim Ocel directs. His other Geva productions include the newest incarnation of A Christmas Carol, Tony Kushner's adaptation of The Illusion and the 1999 2000 production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible.

Designing the show are Leslie Taylor (set), Kendall Smith (lighting) and Dan Roach (sound). Corinne Aquilina will serve as musical director for the two-piano arrangements. Songs in My Fair Lady -- ranking among the best-known in all musical theater -- include "On The Street Where You Live," "Get Me To The Church On Time," "Loverly" and "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face."
