Classic Arts News   Nashville Ballet Appoints New Executive Director

Nashville Ballet has appointed Andrea Dillenburg executive director, the company announced.

Dillenburg was formerly the company's director of marketing; she left in 1999 to become director of development at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. She has also worked at the Atlanta Symphony as director of corporate relations.

She replaces Paul Kaine, who recently became executive director at the Cincinnati Ballet.

"Andrea will bring Nashville Ballet great success with her extensive experience and passion for the performing arts, both of which will help us continue our forward momentum," said Paul Vasterling, Nashville Ballet artistic director.

Nashville Ballet was founded in 1981 and presents classical and contemporary works, including pieces by Vasterling.
