The North American premiere of NASSIM wraps up its long-running limited engagement at New York City Center April 20. In the unconventional new play, playwright Nassim Soleimanpour invited a new actor to the stage each night to discover the script for the first time by lifting it from a sealed envelope.

The final performer to take on the challenge on April 20 is Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House, Entourage).

NASSIM, which is directed by Omar Elerian and is similar in conceit to Soleimanpour's earlier play, White Rabbit Red Rabbit, opened Off-Broadway December 12, 2018.

Among those to have starred in the show at City Center are Frozen's Jelani Alladin, Obie winners Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Carrie Coon, Scandal star Guillermo Diaz, playwrights Will Eno, Craig Lucas, and Tracy Letts, and Tony-nominated actors Marin Ireland, Phillipa Soo, and Ashley Park.

The Off-Broadway run was presented by Barrow Street Theatricals.
