Classic Nat King Cole, Irving Berlin and George Gershwin songs are among more modern tunes by Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Dar Williams, Tori Amos, Tom Waits and Kermit the Frog in the upcoming Trinity Repertory Company new musical revue Songs of Innocence, Songs of Experience, Dec. 12-Jan. 25, 2004.

The new creation by Rachael Warren and Amanda Dehnert, which employs four actor singers, opens at the company's Dowling Theatre in Providence, Rhode Island, Dec. 17.

Co-creator Warren stars along with Drew Battles, Miriam Silverman and Justin Blanchard. Dehnert handles direction and musical direction. The design team include David Jenkins (scenic), John Ambrosone (lighting), William Lane (costumes) and Peter Hurowitz (sound).

The songlist will include "What’ll I Do?," "Route 66," "Tuxedo Junction," "The Rainbow Connection," "Moondance," "Knocks Me Off My Feet," "The Long Ride Home," "Louisiana 1927," "Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me," "The Waitress,"Angel from Montgomery," "Ruby’s Arms," "Sweet Home Chicago," "Someday," "The Basin Street Blues," "Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right" and "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want."
