News Nature Theater of Oklahoma's Poetics Dances Into Boston March 13 The regional premiere of Nature Theater of Oklahoma's Poetics: a ballet brut begins its run at them Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston on March 13.

Conceived and directed by Kelly Copper and Pavol Liska, who presented the acclaimed run of No Dice at Soho Rep last year, Poetics: a ballet brut plays a limited run of four performances through March 15.

Poetics: a ballet brut is described as "a wryly constructed dance piece delightfully unhampered by its performers' complete lack of formal dance training. It takes a vast assortment of common gestures and movements, combining them to create fluid and thoughtful dance pieces, and taking them to hilarious new heights. As it unfolds, Poetics expands from casual encounters to a delightfully skewed dance of life of grand proportions."

Songs included in the work are "Dreamweaver" by Gary Wright, "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen, "Last Dance" by Donna Summer and "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.

Tickets, priced $25, are available by phoning (617) 478-3103 or by visiting ICABoston.

The ICA is located at 100 Northern Avenue on the Boston Waterfront.
