News Naufft's Gospel According to Adam to Arrive Off-Broadway in December The Gospel According to Adam, a new play penned by Naked Angels artistic director Geoffrey Nauffts, will be presented by that Off-Broadway theatre company this winter.

Gospel previews will begin Dec. 7 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons. The limited engagement, which officially opens Dec. 17, will play through Jan. 18, 2009. Casting and a creative team will be announced at a later date.

The Gospel According to Adam, according to a season announcement, is described as such: "Sparks fly when an Atheist falls for a Christian and their two worlds collide; in this hilarious and poignant exploration of faith and reason in modern culture, one man struggles for salvation while the other hangs by a thread."

As previously announced, the Naked Angels season will kick off Sept. 9 at the Cherry Lane Theatre with the world premiere of Frank Pugliese's The Talk directed by Sheryl Kaller. The cast will feature Bobby Cannavale, Bruce MacVittie and Titus Welliver.

The Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons is located at 416 West 42nd Street.
