News Neil Bartram and Brian Hill Developing Something Wicked This Way Comes Musical Neil Bartram and Brian Hill will workshop their new musical Something Wicked This Way Comes, based on the atmospheric Ray Bradbury novel, at the University of Oklahoma in October.

The writers, who also penned the 2009 Broadway musical The Story of My Life, will be in residence for three weeks workshopping Something Wicked This Way Comes with undergraduate musical theatre majors at the university.

Readings of the musical will take place Oct. 25 and 26 in the Weitzenhoffer Theatre. The development of Something Wicked This Way Comes is supported in part by the National Fund for New Musicals.

Bradbury's 1962 novel Something Wicked This Way Comes centers on two teenage boys who encounter a strange traveling carnival overseen by the menacing "Mr. Dark."

Bartram and Hill's projects also include Spin with director Eric Schaeffer and a musical adaptation of Michel Tremblay’s play Les Belles-Soeurs.
