Neil Patrick Harris hosts the 2006 Ovation Awards, in the company of presenters David Hyde Pierce, Doug Savant, Amy Brenneman and more, Nov. 13 at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre.
The honors are presented by the L.A. Stage Alliance. The peer-judged Ovation Awards, established in 1989, honor "artistic excellence of L.A.'s theatres and theatre artists, and their continuing contribution to the vibrant cultural scene."
Also slated to present are Sam Harris, Matt McGrath, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal Allard, Culture Clash, Amy Hill, Emily Kuroda, Patrick Bristow, Karen Constine and David Galligan.
Composer Jerry Herman will receive a Career Achievement honor. California Institute of the Arts Community Arts Partnership (CAP) will receive the Community Outreach Award.
