News Neil Patrick Harris to Host "A Roundabout Road to Broadway" Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the broadcast of a film celebrating the theatre's 50th anniversary, to be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. The 22-minute film will feature exclusive interviews with Roundabout alum Alec Baldwin, Laura Benanti, Matthew Broderick, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Adam Driver, Jake Gyllenhaal and more.

The short film, titled "A Roundabout Road to Broadway," will air exclusively on NBC 4 New York Feb. 6 at 7 PM.

Also slated to appear in the film are Stephen Karam, Jane Krakowski, Frank Langella, Audra McDonald, Dame Helen Mirren, Liam Neeson and Christopher Plummer, among others. Watch the NBC promo here

Directed by Andrew Lawton, "A Roundabout Road to Broadway" chronicles the theatre's road to success, revealing the artistic leaps of faith along the way — from producing plays out of a supermarket basement, to battling bankruptcy to becoming one of New York's most reputable cultural institutions. The company bills it as "one of the most remarkable comeback stories in NYC history."

After Feb. 6, audiences will be able to watch the film online at NBCNewYork.
