CHICAGO--In December the Latino Chicago Theater lost much of its performing space to a fire. The theater, ironically a former firehouse, suffered $400,000 in damages. The company is working overtime to raise funds to rebuild and, happily, they're not alone. On April 5 the Neo-Futurists will hold a benefit performance of their long-running concoction Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, all proceeds from which will go to help Latino Chicago restore their home.

If sold-out, the show, which tells 30 plays in 60 minutes, should provide $1,200 for Latino Chicago, plus any additional donations. For information call 773-275-5255 or contact WWW.neofuturists.org.
