Classic Arts News Netrebko and Villaz‹n to Record Bohme with Bavarian Radio Symphony The Bavarian Radio Symphony's 2006-07 season will include a concert version of Puccini's La bohme with soprano Anna Netrebko and tenor Rolando Villaz‹n, to be recorded for CD release, the Munich Merkur reports.
Netrebko and Villaz‹n, the hottest pairing in the opera world, are currently on the Billboard chart with a recording of Verdi's La traviata made at the 2005 Salzburg Festival.

The Bavarian Radio Symphony's season will also include a series of performances by pianist Lang Lang and a Shostakovich festival. Principal conductor Mariss Jansons will lead 19 concerts in Munich and 26 on tour, including visits to Carnegie Hall and the Lucerne Festival.
