Following the Nov. 15 performance, a transfer is planned to a new West End theatre for Christmas and an open-ended run. Theatre details are to be announced shortly.
In a press statement, producer Charlie Parsons said, "We have been delighted by the overwhelming response the show has had in London. This next stage in the production's journey is the most exciting to date."
Worldwide productions are currently also said to be under discussion for Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Austria, Australia, Korea, New Zealand and Japan. Auditions are also to be held in September for a second company that will launch a 2009-2010 national tour in Manchester.
Never Forget, with an original story written by BAFTA Award winner Danny Brocklehurst (TV's "Shameless," "Sorted" and "Clocking Off"), Guy Jones and director Ed Curtis, revolves around a tribute band being formed to Take That. But when success beckons, love and loyalties are put to the test and the lead singer Ash must decide how far he will go in his pursuit of the ultimate prize. The score includes Take That's number one hits "Relight My Fire," "Pray," "Back for Good," "Babe" and "Never Forget."
