News Nevermore Concert Will Feature Dan Cooney, Natascia Diaz, Whitney Bashor, Eleasha Gamble Musically Human Theatre Productions has announced casting for its upcoming concert staging of Nevermore, which will be presented Nov. 7 at 9:30 PM at the Duplex.

The cast will include Dan Cooney in the role of Edgar Allan Poe, which he created in 2006 at Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA, with Helen Hayes Award winner Natascia Diaz as Mother, Whitney Bashor as Elmira, Helen Hayes Award winner Eleasha Gamble as The Whore and Margo Siebert as Virginia.

Nevermore features music by Matt Conner, book by Grace Barnes and lyrics adapted from the writings of Edgar Allan Poe. The musical, press note state, "sets Edgar Allan Poe's writings to music, telling the story of his relationships with five women in his life."

The upcoming concert will utilize the original Jonathan Tunick orchestrations; Kevin B. Winebold will provide musical direction.

Following the concert, MHTP will produce a full run of Nevermore in June 2012.
