The new Broadway cast recording of Annie Get Your Gun, starring Bernadette Peters, targets store shelves April 20.

Illustrated with the poster art for the revised show (rethought by director Graciela Daniele and book writer Peter Stone), the Angel Records cast album includes the revival's newly-penned prologue, with Frank Butler (Tom Wopat) and ensemble singing "There's No Business Like Show Business," and Col. Buffalo Bill's introduction to the show's concept, a departure from the 1946 and 1966 libretti by Herbert and Dorothy Fields.

Says the impresario Colonel, played by Ron Holgate: "You are now going to see my own personal version of the tempestuous and romantic story of Annie Oakley and Frank Butler!"

The recording's booklet includes the lyrics that reflect the show's revisions. The Broadway cast at the Marquis Theatre also includes Peter Marx, Andrew Palermo, Valerie Wright, Nicole Ruth Snelson, Ronn Carroll and Gregory Zaragoza.

John McDaniel and Stephen Ferrera are the album's producers. Marvin Laird is the conductor. Bernadette Peters and Tom Wopat will meet fans and sign cast recordings at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square 1-3 PM April 23.
