The world premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, currently running at the West End's Palace Theatre, is to release a further batch of tickets for performances in early 2018.
Some 75,000 tickets will go on sale January 23 at 11 AM GMT (6 AM ET), for performances February 7 to April 29, 2018. On past experience, the online queue is likely to stretch to many thousands, and the tickets will no doubt sell out on the day they are released.
Further regular ticket releases will take place throughout the year.
For those who do not manage to secure tickets there's a “Friday Forty” lottery that takes place every Friday at 1 PM GMT, when 40 tickets are released for every performance the following week, at £40 for both a ticket for both parts of the adaptation. Customers are selected at random for the opportunity to buy tickets online and will be able to purchase a maximum of two tickets for both Part One and Part Two in one transaction.
