News New Cast Announced for Long-Running West End Hit Woman in Black The Woman in Black, the West End's long-running stage version of Susan Hill's novel of the same name, will welcome a new cast beginning Dec. 20 at the Fortune Theatre.

Antony Eden (Hangover Square, Carrie’s War) will step into the role of The Actor, alongside Patrick Drury (Major Barbara, The Enchantment), who will play Arthur Kipps.

The Woman in Black was adapted by Stephen Mallatratt and features direction by Robin Herford, designs by Michael Holt and lighting by Kevin Sleep.

Woman in Black, according to press notes, "combines the power and intensity of live theatre with the cinematic quality of film noir. Over seven million people have been transported into a terrifying world in an unremitting drama that has them literally jumping out of their seats."
