New cast members have joined Irish Repertory Theatre’s revival of Finian’s Rainbow, which has been extended to play through January 29 at its newly renovated theatre. The show’s stars, Tony nominee Melissa Errico and Ken Jennings, continue as Sharon and Finian, respectively.

Joining the production through the final curtain are Din Griffin (Choir Boy) as a Gospeleer, Jeremiah James (Show Boat) as Woody, Alex May (Company) as Lilly Mae, and Max Sheldon (Frat Star) as Og.

In Finian’s Rainbow, an Irishman and his daughter hope to strike it rich in America by using a pot of gold stolen from a leprechaun. The musical features music by Burton Lane, a book by E.Y. Harburg and Fred Saidy, and lyrics by Harburg. Adapted by artistic director Charlotte Moore, who also directs, the revival began previews Off-Broadway October 26, and officially opened November 6. Barry McNabb choreographs.

The cast also includes William Bellamy, Dewey Caddell, Peyton Crim, Matt Gibson, Angela Grovey, Kyle Taylor Parker, and Lyrica Woodruff.

Tickets to Finian’s Rainbow range from $50-$70 and are on sale through Irish Rep’s box office by calling (212) 727-2737 or online at irishrep.org.
