News New Comedy Series "Making A Scene With James Franco" Debuts on AOL Today James Franco, the ubiquitous actor who was seen on Broadway in Of Mice and Men and who recently directed the Off-Broadway play The Long Shrift, is now starring in an online comedy series that begins Sept. 17 on AOL Originals.

"Making A Scene With James Franco" features the Oscar nominee, Scott Haze and Ahna O'Reilly reimagining iconic movie scenes for their own comedic purposes.

Featured films will include "The Godfather," "Batman," "Beetlejuice," "Titanic" and "Grease." Franco will also combine movies like "Reservoir Dogs" with "Dirty Dancing."

Franco is an actor, director, screenwriter, producer, teacher and author. He began his career on the cult television program "Freaks and Geeks" and received a Golden Globe Award for playing the title character in the TV biographical film "James Dean." Notable film credits include "Oz the Great and Powerful," "Spring Breakers," Harry Osborn in the "Spider-Man" trilogy, "Milk" and "127 Hours," for which he received Academy Award, SAG and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor.
