Brooklyn’s Gallery Players are set to debut a new, environmental production of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. The Bard’s political drama has been divided into 16 high-intensity scenes which will be performed in various corners of the company’s Park Slope theatre space.

Julius Caesar is directed by James Dean Palmer, and will run July 13–30 at the Gallery Players Theatre, located at 199 14th Street, Brooklyn.

The cast will be made up of Erin Anderson, Elyana Aronow, Patricia Black, Erin Capistrano, Russell Linzy Carpenter, Sergio Fuenzalida, David Glover, Jenny Jarnagin, Drew Ledbetter, Bibi Mama, Cory Mccants, Kevin Mcguire, Victoria Morales, Elisha Mudly, Philip Schneider, Griffin Sharps, and Eric Ryan Swanson.

The creative team is made up of set designer Sarice Olson, costumed designer Susanne Houstle, lighting designer Kate McGee, sound designer Almeda Beynon, fight director Ana Esposito, movement director Myah Shein, voice and text coach Andrus Nichols, associate director Drew Ledbetter, production stage manager Irene Lazaridis, associate costume designer Katharina Windemuth, and associate sound designer Anthony Stultz.

The Gallery Players’ Julius Caesar joins a string of summer productions of the drama, including the Public Theater’s free, outdoor production—which made headlines in June—and Pocket Universe’s all-female staging set in a high school. Performances continue through July 8. Flip through production photos below:
