Cyrano, adapted and directed by Schmidt, features music by Aaron Dessner and Bryce Dessner of the band The National, lyrics by Matt Berninger of The National and Carin Besser. The adaptation is billed as a "raw and transporting" new version with a "charged contemporary immediacy." The production will be seen at the Daryl Roth Theatre and will feature choreography by Jeff and Rick Kuperman. Dinklage will star in the title role, with further casting to be announced.

Also in the fall will be the world premiere of Love's one in two, directed by Stevie Walker-Webb (Ain't No Mo'). In the theatrical and intimate new play, there are three young men. One will be chosen, while the others tell 'his' story. Performances will be at the Pershing Square Signature Center with casting to be announced.

In winter 2020, the New Group will present the world premiere of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, a new musical from Spring Awakening composer Sheik and book writer Jonathan Marc Sherman (Things We Want). Inspired by the Oscar-nominated film of the same name, the new musical offers a bittersweet comic take on the sexual revolution of the late 1960s in which two couples open themselves up to new possibilities. Composer Sheik will be a part of the cast, Artistic Director Scott Elliott will direct, and Come From Away's Kelly Devine will choreograph. Further casting to be announced.

Rounding out the season will be the world premiere of Bradshaw's The Seagull/Woodstock, NY, directed by Elliott. Based on Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, the story follows a group of New York theatre people who retreat to a house upstate. The original author's sharp eye for hypocrisy, self-absorption, and compromise among well-meaning people is given all-new life in this new adaptation from Intimacy playwright Bradshaw. Casting to be announced.

Dates for all four productions will be announced in the future.
