The hardcover book, Grey's third published book of photographs, will arrive in bookstores June 2. In a statement the award-winning actor said, "Whenever I see something I don't quite understand — a shape, a color, an odd juxtaposition of the real and the abstract — nine times out of ten, it's my reason for taking the photograph. For me, taking pictures is like asking questions."
Grey's previous photography books are "Pictures I Had To Take" (published by powerHouse Books in 2003) and "Looking Hard at Unexamined Things" (published by Steidl in 2006).
"1.3" is Grey's third collaboration with acclaimed book designer Sam Shahid.
