The world premiere begins Sept. 11 for a run through Oct. 12.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses follows the 18th-century France-set tale of two former lovers who delight in scheming to demoralize fellow aristocrats until one plan goes awry and comes between them. Giles Havergal directs his ACT-commissioned adaptation of the Choderlos de Laclos novel — which was also adapted for the screen as "Dangerous Liasons." The ACT cast includes Marco Barricelli, Lise Bruneau, Libby West, Elizabeth Raet, Neil Hopkins, Joan Macintosh, Anthony Fusco, Lauren Grace, Michele Leavy, Scott Nordquist, Patrick Sieler, and Taylor Valentine.

The design team for Les Liaisons Dangereuses features Kate Edmunds (sets), Deborah Dryden (costumes), Rui Rita (lighting)and Garth Hemphill (sound). Musical direction is handled by Peter Maleitzke.
