There will be a staged reading of a new musical, Equinox, with music by Jeff Marder and lyrics and book by Mark-Leonard Simmons, Mar. 23 at 7 PM at NY's Mint Theatre Company. Equinox is the story of two children from opposite sides of the track who fight to bring their worlds together.
The reading, to be directed by Simmons, will feature Wenda Baila, Abigail Bailey, Robert Baldwin, Benjamin Cannon, Joseph Melendez, Kirk Mouser, Kalani Queypo, Kelly Ross, Martin Vidmar, Peter Yonka and Gina Zavalis.
The choreographer is Christina Lazo.
An earlier version of Equinox was developed under the auspices of the York Theatre Company.
