News New Musical Hell's Belles Will Play Times Square Arts Center's Elektra Theatre Hell's Belles, a new musical presented by Tweiss Productions and Nicholas James Opalenik/Event Horizon Productions, will play the Elektra Theatre at the Times Square Arts Center Oct. 3-Dec. 27.

Hell's Belles features a book and lyrics by Bryan D. Leys and music by Steve Liebman. It is directed by John Znidarsic with music direction by Mary Feinsinger and musical staging by Eugenio Contenti.

Casting will be announced at a later date.

According to a statement, the show is described as such: "A fallen pop star lands in Hell and joins some of history’s most notorious ladies in a new musical comedy. See Salome shimmy, Lady Godiva let her hair down, Janis Joplin belt some wicked blues, and an epic showdown between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. These are some of the hell-raising belles in the fast-paced, razor-sharp musical satire, Hell’s Belles."

The creative team also includes Josh Iacovelli (set and lighting design), Dustin Cross (costume design), Michael Cassara (casting), Dean A. Carpenter (general manager) and Erica Whelan (general management accountant).
