News New Musical Revue Her Song, with Crosby and Klausner, Debuts Off-Broadway Jan. 21 B.J. Crosby, Nina Hennessey, Terri Klausner and Deborah Tranelli star in Her Song, a new musical revue featuring songs by women songwriters from the 20th century.

The show begins Jan. 21 at The Triad Theatre, 158 West 72nd St., and opens Feb. 19.

The revue was co-conceived by Brenda and Barry Levitt and written by Brenda Levitt. It is directed by Barry Levitt, who was the producing artistic director of the 92nd Street Y's "Lyrics and Lyricists" concert series from 1997 to 2003.

Featured are songs by theatre tunesmiths Nora Bayes, Bett Comden, Dorothy Fields and Carolyn Leigh; cabaret vocalists Peggy Lee, Billie Holliday and Edith Piaf; pop singers Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Carly Simon, Donna Summer; and others.

Tunes include "The Way We Were" (Marilyn Bergman), "Natural Woman" (King), "God Bless the Child" (Holiday), "A Good Day" (Lee) "The Way You Look Tonight" (Fields), "La Vie en Rose" (Edith Piaf) and "America the Beautiful," written by one Katharine Lee Bates.
