The View UpStairs officially opened February 28 Off-Broadway. The new musical, written by Max Vernon and directed by Scott Ebersold, is inspired by one of the most significant, but rarely spoken about attacks against the LGBTQ community that took place in a New Orleans gay bar called The UpStairs Lounge.

Invisible Wall Productions presents the New York premiere, which began performances February 15 at The Lynn Redgrave Theater at Culture Project. The limited engagement is scheduled through May 21.
