The cast is led by Johanna Day as Zipporah Zunder and features Ken Cheeseman, Munson Hicks, Connie Ray, Raviv Ullman and Madeline Wise.

Choice is described as such: "When successful journalist Zipporah Zunder takes on an assignment to investigate a new and polarizing social phenomenon, she is unprepared for how deeply this story will impact her life, transforming her understanding of herself, her past, and her future. Funny, smart, and emotional, this unpredictable new play looks at all the layers that live inside a single choice."

Holzman told the Boston Globe, "I think a topic like this is what we have plays for. This shouldn’t be the sole province of the political stage, where people are screaming at each other from one side of the question or the other. I thought a play might give people an experience where they might be surprised."

Day said, "What’s interesting to me is what happens when someone who is very confident and competent finds herself in a situation where she doesn’t have all the answers."

Choice features scenic design by James Noone, costume design by Mariann Verheyen, lighting design by Rui Rita, sound design by Leon Rothenberg, casting by Alaine Alldaffer, production stage management by Katie Ailing and stage management by Jeremiah Mullane.
