News New Play Ham Lake Debuts Off-Broadway April 27 Film star Josh Hartnett, along with Jefferson Bjoraker and Paddy Mulloy, will produce the new Off-Broadway play Ham Lake at the Huron Club at the SOHO Playhouse. Performances begin April 27 and last until May 20.

Hartnett, whose movies include "Black Hawk Down" and "Pearl Harbor," is the childhood friend of Sam Rosen, the star of the show. Described as being in "the spirit of Spalding Gray," Ham Lake has Rosen becoming "the most interesting guy at the bar who tells the coolest stories. This one is about one ordinary evening that turned into the most revelatory night of his life. As the story goes, upon running into an unstable old girlfriend at a party, he quickly realizes that he has been the subject of a ruse and is stranded in the titular town in ice cold weather without a jacket." Nat Bennett is co-writer of the piece. Ian Morgan directs.

According to press notes, Rosen also intends to turn Ham Lake into a film.
