News New Production of Sisterella Musical Aiming for 2011 A new production of Larry Hart's 1996 musical Sisterella, which was first seen at the Pasadena Playhouse, is in the works.

Variety reports that a spring 2011 opening is likely with further details to be announced.

Michael Jackson associates Jerry Greenberg and Frank Dileo will produce the revival. Jackson was a presenter of the original staging.

A retelling of the classic "Cinderella" story set in New York City, the upcoming production will feature the work of its original choreographer, Raymond G. Del Barrio, who will now also co-direct.

Greenberg and Dileo were the executive producers of the musical's original 1996 engagement. Mark Lamica, Quincy Krashna and creator Hart are also among the executive producers of the new staging.
