Little Bitters features book, music and lyrics by Thornton and direction by Celine Rosenthal. The evening will feature styling by Jaime Torres.
Here's how the musical is billed, "Can you love someone else if you've lost yourself? Little Bitters seeks to answer the question as it follows the up-by-his-bootstraps romantic Mikey, the bitchier-than-thou ex-Jazz-singer Pearl, and the too-young mother Liz: all trapped and tied together by the service aprons of their local bar. One by one, they discover the small beautiful things in their lives that may - or may not - make them worth the living. Through a fresh style and a classic charge, Little Bitters highlights the hopes, abuse, selfishness and victories that live in us all."
The cast will include Jeremy Morse as Mikey, Meetu Chilana as Pearl, Michael Indeglio as Benson, Elyssa Samsel as Kayla, Lauren Marcus as Liz, Scott Lilly as Bubbles, Bill Coyne as Dan and Lisa Birnbaum as Stevie.
