News New Sound of Music Cast Recording Due in December The cast recording of the London revival of The Sound of Music — starring reality TV winner Connie Fisher as Maria von Trapp — is scheduled to arrive in U.K. stores in December.

According to the Really Useful website, the single CD of the London Palladium Cast Recording will be released Dec. 11. Pre-orders for the disc, priced £12.99, are currently available by visiting www.reallyuseful.com. The complete track listing for The Sound of Music follows:

The Sound of Music originally premiered on Broadway in 1959, winning six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The 1965 Hollywood film, which starred Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, won five Oscars, including Best Picture.
