Jonathan Stafford, former ballet master and New York City Ballet principal dancer, will lead a new interim artistic management team at New York City Ballet.

After anonymous allegations of sexual harassment against ballet master in chief Peter Martins came to the fore, Martins requested a leave of absence so “that his presence would not be a distraction while an independent internal investigation into recent allegations against him is under way.”
