Classic Arts News New York Philharmonic Concert With Gil Shaham to Be Broadcast Live June 15 A New York Philharmonic concert featuring violinist Gil Shaham on June 15 will be broadcast live on PBS's Live From Lincoln Center, Lincoln Center announced.
The program includes Dvoršk's Carnival Overture, Debussy's Pr_lude _ l'aprs-midi d'un faune, Roussel's Bacchus et Ariane Suite No. 2, and Sibelius's Violin Concerto, with Shaham as soloist. Philharmonic music director Lorin Maazel is the conductor.

The concert marks the Philharmonic's 60th appearance on Live From Lincoln Center. Former Metropolitan Opera and Lincoln Center chair Beverly Sills will host.

The broadcast begins at 8 p.m. ET on PBS stations around the country. Check local listings.
