For 20 years photographer Chris Lee has been capturing all of the excitement of New York Philharmonic concerts on stage at Avery Fisher Hall and on tour. But much of the life of the Orchestra — the intense work of rehearsals, the camaraderie of the dressing rooms, reunions of artistic colleagues — takes place offstage, where he is also free to roam. As the Philharmonic's 2006-07 subscription season ends, we take a peek at some of those private moments.
