The work is co-produced by New York Theatre Workshop and New York City Hip Hop Theater Festival as it was for its previous run.
Flow is described as "a tale of seven storytellers" and features writer-performer Power portraying many characters using rap, rhyme, and movement. Power will be accompanied live by DJ Reborn with original music created by Power and Will Hammond.
The creative team features David Ellis (Sets), Gabriel Berry (costumes) and Sarah Sidman (lighting).
Developed and directed by Hip-Hop Theater Fest founder Danny Hoch (Jails, Hospitals, Hip-Hop), Flow was the inaugural workshop of NYTW's newly created Jonathan Larson Lab which led to the current co-production.
Flow will play at NYTW, 79 East Fourth St., (between Bowery and Second Ave.). Tickets can be purchased at the box office or by calling (212) 460-5475. For more information, visit www.nytw.org.
