Joan Almedilla (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables), Angel Desai (Company), Ali Ewoldt (Les Miserables, West Side Story), Jose Llana (The King & I, Spelling Bee, The Flower Drum Song, Wonderland) and Orville Mendoza (Pacific Overtures, Road Show) will travel to Romania to perform A Medley of Sondheim, a concert presentation of Stephen Sondheim's iconic musical numbers. The Nov. 17 concert at the Metropolis Theatre in Bucharest is presented within the framework of the fourth edition of the International Festival for Musical Performing Arts, "Life is Beautiful." Llana also directs. Tony winner Hugh Jackman, who opens Nov. 10 in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre, will be interviewed Nov. 11 on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered"; ATC is heard locally in New York City on WNYC (93.9 FM and 820 AM) from 4-6:30 PM.
On Nov. 14 the stars of Broadway’s Jersey Boys will perform at the lighting of the UNICEF Snowflake at a special ceremony in front of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City, singing selections from the newly released holiday album, "Seasons Greetings: A Jersey Boys Christmas." The lighting event will take place at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, 55th Street and 5th Avenue at 6:30 PM.
Coleman & Shack, featuring two-time Back Stage Vocalist of the Year Amy Coleman and GLAAD/Ovation Award-winning Steve Schalchlin (composer-lyricist of The Last Session), will debut at Don't Tell Mama (343 West 46th Street) Nov. 11 at 9:15 PM.
