PlayBlog Next Fall Director Is Bound for "Home" This Summer Tony-contending director Sheryl Kaller is heading for her "artistic home," New York Stage & Film, this summer where she initially tried out Geoffrey Nauffts' Best Play nominee Next Fall. This time, the play is We Are Here by Tracey Thorne, who, like Nauffts, is a performer making her debut as a playwright.

"It's about a woman's struggle after the loss of her child and how music and family are used to heal," Kaller relayed. "It's not a musical, but it is a play with music. I will be starting rehearsals June 7, with Adriane Lenox starring as the mother of the woman who lost the child. Right now I'm auditioning for the rest of the cast."

Lenox won a Tony for her performance in John Patrick Shanley's Doubt.
