News Next to Normal, White's Lies and 70, Girls, 70 Among Titles at Michigan's Meadow Brook in 2012-13 Meadow Brook Theatre has announced its 2012-13 season, which includes the Michigan premieres of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal and Ben Andron's White's Lies, among others.

Next to Normal, which features a Tony Award-winning score by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey and tells the story of a family coping with crisis, will play Feb. 13-March 10, 2013. White's Lies, the story of Joe White and his fictional family, will run Jan. 9-Feb. 2, 2013. Other Michigan premieres include Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House, adapted by F. Andrew Leslie, which kicks off the season Oct. 3-28, 2012; and Roger Bean's Life Could Be a Dream, featuring hit songs of the 1960s, April 24-May 19, 2013.

The 2012-13 season will also feature the special 31st holiday production of A Christmas Carol (Nov. 16-Dec. 23, 2012); W. Somerset Maugham's The Constant Wife (March 20-April 14, 2013); the musical comedy 70, Girls, 70, which features a book by David Thompson and Norman L. Martin with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb (May 29-June 23, 2013); and the company's fifth annual Children's Series.
