Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) will play Rocky, with Kushnier (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Riff Raff, Rosen (The Other Josh Cohen) as Dr. Scott/Eddie/Narrator and DiPalma (American Idiot) as Magenta.

They join the previously announced Skivvies band members and actors Nick Cearley (All Shook Up national tour) as Brad and Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd) as Janet, with Jennifer Cody (Shrek, Urinetown) as Columbia.

Tony Award nominee Hunter Foster will direct the production that will run through Nov. 2  with select special late-night showings.

Will Swenson, who was previously announced to play Dr. Frank-N-Furter, has withdrawn from the production to replace Will Chase in the Second Stage Off-Broadway premiere of Little Miss Sunshine. Casting for the role of Frank-N-Furter will be announced shortly.

Local actors cast in the production are Sarah DeNight, Brian Graziani, Alex Kryger and Erica Nicole Rothman. "We are thrilled to announce exciting additions to this all-star Broadway cast and creative team. We are proud to be bringing the Rocky Horror tradition back to the Playhouse, and are even prouder to be including Bucks County area talent with a local Phantom chorus," said producing director Jed Bernstein in a statement. "This is another great way to further celebrate community."

The creative team includes David L. Arsenault and Wilson Chin (set design), Nicole V. Moody (costume design), Travis McHale (lighting design), Ed Chapman (sound design) and Alex Harrington (music direction).

Lorin Latarro, who was the associate choreographer on Broadway's Hand on a Hardbody and choreographer of Scandalous, will choreograph.

The Rocky Horror Show, with book, music, and lyrics by O'Brien, is "a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show,'" according to press notes. "It follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his 'perfect' creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures."

The Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA. For more information and tickets, call (215) 862-2121 or visit BCPTheater.org.
