"What started as me and six Broadway friends wanting to do more for Broadway Cares has turned into an annual night-to-remember that you simply can't miss," founder Jerry Mitchell said in a statement. "I created a show from my heart and audiences have continued to embrace it. Now every year, we get to take off our clothes, raise a heck of a lot of money and truly make a difference in the lives of men, women and children across the country."
The first edition of Broadway Bares raised $8,000. Last year's Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque raised a record $1.6 million, bringing the all-time Bares total to $14.3 million.
Hammerstein Ballroom is located in Manhattan Center at 311 West 34th Street.
