The Book of Mormon Tony winner will play a communications director in the drama.
Nikki M. James, a Tony winner for her work in the hit musical The Book of Mormon, has landed a role in the currently untitled Fox pilot from Danny Strong (Empire) and writer David Elliott, Deadline reports.
The legal drama, formerly known as Infamy, concerns a legal team led by a female attorney who has a fierce hunger for justice.
James, whose recent TV credits include BrainDead and The Good Wife, will be a series regular in a cast that also includes fellow theatre actor Brian d'Arcy James as well as Rachelle Lefevre, Russell Hornsby, Vincent Kartheiser, and Riley Smith.
The documentary follows Tony-honored high school drama teacher Melody Herzfeld and the Marjory Stoneman Douglas drama students, who helped bring their community together following the Parkland shooting.
