Nikki M. James, a Tony winner for her work in the hit musical The Book of Mormon, has landed a role in the currently untitled Fox pilot from Danny Strong (Empire) and writer David Elliott, Deadline reports.
The legal drama, formerly known as Infamy, concerns a legal team led by a female attorney who has a fierce hunger for justice.
James, whose recent TV credits include BrainDead and The Good Wife, will be a series regular in a cast that also includes fellow theatre actor Brian d'Arcy James as well as Rachelle Lefevre, Russell Hornsby, Vincent Kartheiser, and Riley Smith.
James has been cast as Communications Director Violet in the 20th Century Fox TV-Danny Strong Productions project.
