News Nikki Snelson, Quentin Darrington Join Faculty for Broadway Dreams Foundation's True Colors Omaha Concert The Broadway Dreams Foundation has partnered with Omaha Performing Arts for the second consecutive summer to present True Colors, the company's summer intensive concert, which will be directed by director-producer Richard Jay-Alexander and feature Broadway faculty members July 16 at Omaha's Holland Performing Arts Center.

Jay-Alexander and faculty members James Kinney (Sweet Charity), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line), Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde), Quentin Darrington (Ragtime), Sarah Pfeifer (Jersey Boys) and BDF artistic director Paul Canaan (Legally Blonde) work with aspiring young performers July 11-17 in preparation for the 7:30 PM concert. BDF faculty members will perform in True Colors alongside Omaha’s youth.

Following the summer intensive program, Omaha Performing Arts and BDF will present a special casting call for the upcoming Broadway revival of Annie. Auditions for the roles of Annie and her pals from Miss Hannigan’s orphanage will be held 3-7 PM July 17 and  9 AM-1 PM July 18 at the Holland Performing Arts Center.

Jay-Alexander will also stage the upcoming Broadway Dreams Philadelphia concert Aug. 6 at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
