Nosferatu, the Telluride Repertory Theatre Company's new Off-Off Broadway production starring Nikolai Kinski, son of actor Klaus, ends at HERE June 11. Performances began there May 25.

Kinski grew up watching dad play Dracula on screen in his most famous movie, the 1979 remake of F.W. Murnau's silent movie classic, "Nosferatu."

Also based on the Murnau film, Nosferatu is adapted for the stage by French-Italian director Rene Migliaccio, who will employ a cast of 24. The production is described as having an "expressionistic-realism" acting style and a scenic design made up of "shadow and light" and works by 18th and 19th century painters.

The creative team included set and costume designer Francois Tomsu, lighting designer Stephanie Johnson, and Japanese make-up artist Reiko Kruk, who also painted Kinski père's face back in 1979.

Nosferatu features an original score of techno, ambient and classical music by French composers Amaury Groc, Toidoi and Beru and a set design based in shadow and light and accented by the art work of Casper Friedrich and other 18th and 19th Century romantic painters. Joining Kinski are Annie Alquist, Suzan Beraza, Jeb Berrier, Bunzy Bunworth, Angela Cavins Charles DeWinter, Lori Vincent, Elana Bell, Noelle Brown Adamschek, Jackie Dribbon, Bertie Ferdman, Kara Goulx, Anna Kramer, Susannah Ray, Anna Sant, Leticia Santafe, Gonzalo Munoz, Barrett Ogden, Philip Scrima, Dario Tangelson and Elena Zubulake.

Tickets are $20. HERE is located at 145 Sixth Avenue between Spring and Broome streets. For tickets, call (212) 647-0202, or visit www.here.org.
