News Nixon, Ziemba, Lewis, Blake, Racey and More Set for Kickin' It Benefit A host of Broadway performers will take part in Kickin' It: Broadway Gives Back.

Directed and choreographed by Lorin Latarro, the Oct. 13 evening at The Ailey Citigroup Theater will benefit Natasha "Nabba" Steinhagen and help raise awareness for ovarian cancer.

The evening, which begins at 7 PM, will boast appearances and/or performances by Cynthia Nixon, Karen Ziemba, Norm Lewis, Richard Blake, Elizabeth Parkinson, John Selya, Noah Racey, Megan Sikora and Jared Grimes as well as cast members from Hair and Movin' Out.

In a statement director-choreographer Latarro said, "I have worked with Nabba in four of the Broadway shows I have been lucky enough to be a part of. She's been a staple in the Broadway community for many years, making sure we look beautiful when we go out on that stage — she is considered one of the best in the biz. We always talk about our sense of family in show business, so when sickness strikes one of our own, it affects our whole 'family.' I wanted to have a night to help her, not only financially, but also by turning the spotlight on her, since for so long it was she making sure we looked good for our spotlight. So here it is: Kickin' It — a night of singing and dancing for one of our own, in her honor, to show her how much we stand by our idea of community and sense of family. Please join us in kicking up your legs and help Nabba kick ovarian cancer so we can have her back where she belongs."

The evening will also include a live raffle auction.

The Ailey Citigroup Theater is located 405 West 55th Street at Ninth Avenue. Tickets, priced $40, are available by visiting www.smarttix.com.
