The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival complete their “Rock Thy Brain” 10th anniversary season with an adaptation of Maurice Maeterlinck’s The Blue Bird Nov. 28-Dec. 23. Artistic director Bonnie Monte directs. The story of a brother and sister whose journey one Christmas Eve changes their lives forever. Setting out on their quest with their dog and cat, the siblings travel through the Land of Memory, the Palace of Night and the Kingdom of the Future to capture the blue bird of happiness.

The cast is led by Paul Molnar and Holly Haire as the brother and sister pair as Tyltyl and Mytyl and Andy Paterson as their dog Tylo. The creative team behind the production include Harry Feiner with sets, Molly Reynolds with costumes, Phil Monat with lights, and sound by Richard Dionne.
