News NJSO Offers An Evening with Bernadette Peters June 2 Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters joins the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra for the final concert of its season June 2 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Prudential Hall.

Peters, who recently concluded an acclaimed run in the Broadway revival of Follies and delighted television audiences on the NBC musical series "Smash," headlines the 8 PM concert in Newark, NJ.

An Evening with Bernadette Peters promises stand-outs from her illustrious career, as well as Broadway standards and surprises. Her longtime conductor Marvin Laird (Gypsy) will be at the podium. Gerald Steichen conducts the first-half orchestra program.
