No word as yet on the Actors Studio production of Oedipus, starring Al Pacino, which was scheduled to take place this fall. While the Actors Studio confirmed that the production was being developed earlier in the summer, a spokesperson now says there is no news to report and no definitive schedule.
As reported, Al Pacino is linked to the Off-Broadway project, which was originally going to be directed by Actors Studio artistic director Estelle Parsons later in the year. Other names connected to the production include Austin Pendleton and Louis Zorich. A theatre has not been named.
