News Noll Joins New York Pops for Carnegie Hall Celebration Dec. 15-16 The 19th Annual Holiday Celebration featuring The New York Pops will be presented at Carnegie Hall Dec. 15 and 16.

The two performances feature the famed Pops orchestra under the direction of conductor Alastair Willis. Guests for the evening include Broadway soprano Christiane Noll, the Young People's Chorus of New York City and 12-year-old trumpet virtuoso José Esquilin. Christmas and Hanukkah favorites will be heard during the 8 PM concerts. Christiane Noll, who was part of the out-of-town tryout of The Mambo Kings, made her Broadway debut as Emma Carew in Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde. She later joined the Broadway company of It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues and starred in the City Center Encores! production of Out of This World. Noll appeared in the national tours of Grease!, Miss Saigon and City of Angels, and she has recorded three solo albums: "Christiane Noll — A Broadway Love Story" (Varese Sarabande Records), "Live at the Westbank Café," (Car-Jam Records) and "The Ira Gershwin Album" (Fynsworth Alley).
